Pronova BioPharma has entered into long term licence and supply
agreements and works closely with strong regional partners for the
distribution of Omacor and Lovaza in 46 countries.
The combined sales force focused in this network on the sale of Omacor/
Lovaza totalled more than 1 750 individuals during 2007. Some 600
of these were sales professionals employed by Reliant Pharmaceuticals.
GlaxoSmithKline acquired Reliant in December 2007 and plans to more than
double the US sales force for Lovaza.
Together with our partners, we are also involved in phase III of clinical
trials for other cardiovascular diseases, such as atrial fibrillation and
congestive heart failure.
