Around the clock

Production at the Sandefjord plant runs continuously all day every day. It operates at maximum capacity and efficiency, which means that the production facility has minimum down time. The new plant currently under construction at Kalundborg, Denmark, will mirror the production processes at the Sandefjord plant. Owing to the complexity of the operational skills required at the new plant, extensive and intense training programmes for transfer of expertise to the new workforce are already underway. Prospective Danish shift leaders started training at the Sandefjord plant at the beginning of January 2008, and a gradual ramp-up of new hires and training will take place throughout 2008.

Employee survey

An employee survey is conducted every year in Pronova BioPharma. The results provide employee feedback on the group’s working culture, leadership and general job satisfaction, and are used to ensure that the group meets high standards in these areas. Continuous efforts are made to improve all results.
