Concern for employee health, safety and the environment is on the daily list of priorities in Pronova BioPharma. A systematic and responsible approach characterises work in this area. 

As a producer of pharmaceuticals developed from natural marine resources which contribute to people’s vitality and life force, it is in our nature to do what we are capable of to ensure our employees' health and safety. This is also our policy for the environment, without compromises.

In Pronova BioPharma we build our business on the HSE-platform.
Only when all elements of the platform are sufficiently dimensioned and maintained is the platform safe. This way, we have visualised how important and fundamental the HSE work is within our business. In Pronova BioPharma the comprehension of the HSE platform’s importance is both vital and normative for the work environment we hope to stimulate.

We have set ambitious goals for out HSE efforts. Control procedures, routine for reporting incidents and near misses, evaluation projects and improvement programmes contribute continuously to enhancing the accuracy of important HSE elements. The attitude of each employee to HSE is also crucial for success.
